The Details
Terms of Service.
Effective Date: September 28, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of wonderworkingwoman.com (the "Site") and the services offered through it. The Site is operated by Wonder Working Woman LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Wonder Working Woman," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing the Site, submitting a form, booking an appointment, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Who We Are and What We Do
Wonder Working Woman provides paralegal mentorship and development, and consulting services for law firms, including staffing plans, case management software assessments, and staff assessments. Descriptions of services on the Site are general. The scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for any engagement are set in a separate written agreement, proposal, or invoice ("Engagement Agreement"). If these Terms conflict with an Engagement Agreement, the Engagement Agreement controls for that engagement.
2. Not Legal Advice
Wonder Working Woman is not a law firm and does not practice law. Nothing on the Site, in our communications, or in our services constitutes legal advice, and no relationship of attorney and client is created between you and Wonder Working Woman. Our services address operations, staffing, systems, and professional development. Decisions about legal matters, legal compliance, and the supervision of nonattorney staff remain the responsibility of the licensed attorneys at your firm.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site or purchase services. By using the Site, you represent that you are 18 or older and that you have authority to bind any firm or organization on whose behalf you act.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form or booking
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Site, including through automated tools, scraping, or excessive requests
- Copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute Site content except as permitted in Section 8
- Use the Site to transmit malware, spam, or harassing content
We may suspend or block access to the Site for any conduct that violates these Terms.
5. Appointments
Appointments are scheduled through our booking tool and are subject to availability. When you book, you agree to provide accurate contact information and to attend at the scheduled time.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours before the appointment. Appointments missed without notice, or canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, may be charged the full fee for that appointment if a fee applies. Complimentary consultations that are missed without notice may not be rebooked at our discretion.
We may reschedule an appointment when necessary and will give you as much notice as possible.
6. Fees, Payments, and Refunds
Fees. Fees for services are stated in your Engagement Agreement, invoice, or at the time of booking. All fees are in U.S. dollars.
Payment. Payments made through the Site are processed by Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide. You agree to Stripe's terms of service, and you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method. We do not store your full payment card information.
Invoices. Invoiced fees are due as stated on the invoice. Late payments may accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate allowed by law, and we may pause work on an engagement until the account is current.
Refunds. Payments for consulting engagements and mentorship programs are earned when the work is performed. Deposits and retainers are nonrefundable once work has begun. If you cancel an engagement before work begins, we will refund any prepaid amount less any costs already incurred. Fees for completed sessions, delivered assessments, and delivered work product are not refundable. Where an Engagement Agreement sets different refund terms, the Engagement Agreement controls.
Disputes. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us at deann@wonderworkingwoman.com within 30 days of the charge so we can resolve it.
7. Consulting and Mentorship Services
No guarantee of results. Our recommendations reflect our professional judgment based on the information you provide and our experience. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including hiring results, retention, productivity gains, software performance, or career advancement. Implementation of any recommendation is your decision and your responsibility.
Your information. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide to us. Recommendations built on incomplete or inaccurate information may be unreliable.
Confidentiality. We treat information you share with us during an engagement as confidential and use it only to perform the services. You agree not to share our proprietary methods, templates, or work product with third parties except as permitted in your Engagement Agreement. Specific confidentiality terms, including any obligations relating to client files or privileged information, will be set in the Engagement Agreement.
Employment decisions. Staff assessments are advisory. All hiring, promotion, discipline, and termination decisions are made solely by your firm, and your firm is responsible for compliance with all applicable employment laws.
Software assessments. Our assessments of case management and other software are independent opinions. We do not warrant the performance, security, or suitability of any third party product.
8. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, design, and the Wonder Working Woman name and brand, are owned by Wonder Working Woman or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You may view and print Site content for your personal or internal business reference. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from Site content without our written permission.
Work product delivered under an Engagement Agreement is licensed to you for your firm's internal use unless the Engagement Agreement provides otherwise. Our underlying methods, frameworks, templates, and know how remain our property.
9. Your Submissions
By submitting information through the Site, you grant us permission to use it to respond to you and provide the services you request. You represent that you have the right to share the information you submit and that it does not include privileged or confidential client information unless you have authority to disclose it and have told us so.
If you provide feedback or testimonials, you grant us a nonexclusive, royalty free right to use them in connection with our business. We will not publish a testimonial with your name or firm name without your consent.
10. Third Party Services and Links
The Site relies on third party providers, including Replit, Formspree, Google Analytics, Microsoft Bookings, and Stripe. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third party service or any website we link to.
11. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free, or that content is accurate, complete, or current.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wonder Working Woman and its members, managers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Site or our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Site or our services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100 if you have paid us nothing.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability for certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wonder Working Woman and its members, managers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or third party right, or any employment or personnel decision your firm makes.
14. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at deann@wonderworkingwoman.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Termination of Site access does not affect obligations under an existing Engagement Agreement. Sections 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 17 survive termination.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Changes do not apply retroactively to Engagement Agreements already in effect.
17. General Terms
Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable Engagement Agreement are the entire agreement between you and Wonder Working Woman regarding the Site and our services.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
Notices. Notices to us must be sent to deann@wonderworkingwoman.com. Notices to you may be sent to the email address you provided.
