Sound Familiar?
Capable is not the problem. Trained is.
You triple check deadlines because you built your own system from scratch and you are not sure it holds. You say yes to every assignment because you cannot tell which ones matter most. You have never taken a full week off, because your desk lives in your head.
Left alone, this does not get better. It gets normal. And normal costs you raises you never ask for, weekends you never get back, and a reputation as reliable instead of indispensable. There is a difference, and it is worth a lot of money.

Proof
Paralegals who stopped guessing.
Six months ago I was checking my calendar from bed because I did not trust my own system. Deann rebuilt my desk with me, file by file. I carry more than 80 cases now, and I have not worked a weekend since March. My attorneys noticed before I did.
I spent my first two years guessing and hoping nobody could tell. Deann taught me the job the way somebody should have on day one. Last month I ran a case status meeting on my own for the first time, and at review season I asked for a raise with my numbers in hand and got it.
To understand executive-level support and build a team capable of handling complex legal needs is a challenge. Deann gets it, simply put. Her approach to project management ensures staff and leadership have the resources, equipment, and support for consistent success. She helps paralegals and firms not only produce but flourish.
I have been a paralegal for 24 years... After 24 years, I am learning again. I have had the pleasure of working with Deann for almost two years, and during that time, we have prepared for and assisted our attorneys through six trials and counting. I have learned more from watching her during those trials than I ever expected to learn at this point in my career... She has an incredible amount of knowledge to share, but what makes her even more special is her willingness to share it.
I had the privilege of working alongside Deann Groce at a large personal injury law firm, where she served as a senior paralegal and chief of staff for our team. Throughout our time together, Deann consistently demonstrated exceptional knowledge, professionalism, and integrity.
Most importantly, she truly cared for our clients. She worked tirelessly to ensure they received the best possible legal representation, always operating under the belief that this was their "one shot" at a fair resolution.
Deann modeled a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence, providing invaluable leadership and mentorship to the entire team. While she held us to high standards, she was always available to offer guidance and resources to anyone who asked. I greatly admire her deep commitment to both her clients and her colleagues, and I consider myself fortunate to have worked with her.
Questions You Are Probably Asking
Straight answers, as promised.
Is this worth it on a paralegal salary?
Run the math on one missed raise. Paralegals who run their desks with visible systems are the ones firms fight to keep and pay to keep. The program exists to move you into that group, and the free call up front means you can size me up before a dollar changes hands.
I do not have time. My caseload is the whole problem.
The sessions are one hour a week and they work on your real files, not homework. Most mentees get that hour back within the first month because the system starts catching what your memory was carrying.
Will this work for my practice area?
My 25 years are plaintiff side, and that is where I mentor best. The systems transfer to most litigation desks. The free call is where we find out honestly, and I will tell you if I am not the right fit.
What if my firm should be paying for this?
Many firms will, and I will help you make that ask. Some mentees expense it as professional development. If your firm wants the bigger conversation, that is what the firm consulting side is for.
What happens after the 90 days?
You keep everything: the written system, the templates, the habits. Some mentees continue monthly. None of them need to.
Your desk, run by you.
Thirty minutes on the phone. Bring your caseload, leave with clarity, and decide from there.
